Doctors Manjiri Dighe and Habib Rahbar to take on new roles

Effective June 1, 2025, Professor and Medical Director of Ultrasound Manjiri Dighe, MD, MBBS, will assume the role of Site Director of Radiology at UWMC, succeeding Dr. Habib Rahbar. Dr. Dighe brings a wealth of leadership experience and a strong commitment to excellence, and we are confident she will continue to advance the department’s mission in this new role. She is also the Vice Chair of Quality and Safety.

At the same time, Professor Habib Rahbar, MD, FSBI, will transition  to the role of Executive Vice Chair of Radiology. In this capacity, he will work closely with Dr. Dighe and continue to provide strategic leadership across the department. Dr. Rahbar also serves as Vice Chair of Clinical Operations, UWMC Chief of Service, and Co-Director of the Quantitative Breast Imaging Lab (QBI).

We are deeply grateful for Dr. Rahbar’s outstanding service as Site Director and look forward to his continued contributions in this expanded role.
