Dr. Minal Jagtiani published in ScienceDirect and presenting at ARRS 2026
Minal Jagtiani, MBBS, MRCS, FRCR, MD, assistant professor of radiology in abdominal imaging, is the first author of an original research manuscript titled, “Can CT esophagogram replace fluoroscopic assessment of suspected esophageal leaks after hours without compromising patient safety? Our six-year multicenter experience.” The manuscript was published in ScienceDirect, and fellow UW research co-authors include Puneet Bhargava, MD; Rajat Bhargava, MD; Christopher Mejias, MD; and Charles Watt, MS, (Statistics).
Dr. Jagtiani also authored a solo publication in ScienceDirect titled, “From oesophagus to esophagus: Radiology careers in the UK and US from the eyes of an Indian medic.”
Dr. Jagtiani will present at the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Annual Meeting in April 2026. Topics will include:
