Dr. Murat Sadic elected to national leadership and key faculty roles

Dr. Murat Sadic, associate professor of radiology in the division of nuclear medicine, serves nationally as an at-large board member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) Cardiovascular Council and holds multiple committee appointments within SNMMI, advancing initiatives in nuclear cardiology, theranostics and education. He was recently elected to the UW Faculty Council on Teaching and Learning, a standing committee of the UW Faculty Senate, where he contributes to educational policy and curriculum innovation.
Dr. Sadic was also a participant in the SNMMI Future Leaders Academy which, "focuses on setting a clear plan for increasing leadership abilities." He was selected for, and completed, the Success for Underrepresented Faculty (SURF) Program at the UW School of Medicine and the SNMMI Future Leaders Academy, reflecting his growing leadership at both the institutional level and across the country.
Dr. Sadic's recent elections and appointments highlight his commitment to teaching, mentorship and innovation, while enhancing the visibility of UW Radiology on the national stage.
