Dr. Domenico Mastrodicasa selected for the 2025 NASCI Rising Star Fellowship

UW Radiology acting instructor Dr. Domenico Mastrodicasa has been awarded the 2025 North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging (NASCI) Rising Star Fellowship. The award was presented by Dr. Suhny Abbara, the new Editor-in-Chief of Radiology, and Dr. Prachi Agarwal, NASCI Past President. 

This prestigious two-year honor from the NASCI recognizes exceptional early-career cardiovascular imagers and provides structured mentorship from senior NASCI leaders, opportunities to participate in NASCI research and education committees and travel support to the society’s annual meetings. Through this program, NASCI aims to cultivate the next generation of leaders in cardiovascular imaging.
