Dr. Chengcheng Zhu receives noteworthy awards from publishers

UW Radiology Research Associate Professor Dr. Chengcheng Zhu recently received two prestigious awards from different radiology publishers. Dr. Zhu received a Certificate for the Editor's Recognition Award for reviewing with special distinction in Radiology from the Radiological Society of North America journal Radiology in January 2026. The award was given by Suhny Abbara, MD, FACR, editor in chief of Radiology, in recognition of Dr. Zhu’s, “Outstanding service as a reviewer of scientific manuscripts submitted for publication in Radiology.” 

Dr. Zhu also received the 2025 Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (JCMR) Triple Gold Star Reviewer Award from the JCMR’s official publication of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance. This was in recognition of Dr. Zhu’s efforts being among the top 2% of JCMR reviewers for 2023-2025, and the certificate was given by Tim Leiner, MD, PhD Editor-in-Chief of JCMR.
