OVERVIEW
Admission criteria to University of Washington’s Imaging Physics Residency Program will be determined per CAMPEP requirements.
Applicants must either:
- have graduated from a CAMPEP-accredited MS or PhD graduate program, or
- have completed a CAMPEP-accredited certificate program
Applicants with a Masters or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP-accredited program with a graduate GPA of at least 3.0 will be considered for admission. Requirements include a completed application, personal statement or cover letter, at least two letters of reference, copies of your official undergraduate and graduate school transcripts and degrees, and CV in PDF format including awards, publications and presentations. Please ensure that peer reviewed publications are readily identifiable. We will seek candidates with research and/or clinical productivity, demonstrated interest in a clinical career path, and from diverse professional backgrounds. Visa requirements for applicants will be assessed on a case-by-case basis based on University of Washington guidelines.
Recruitment for our 2026 residency has ended.
Our program does not participate in the Medical Physics Match program and so resident acceptance decision will be made in early February.

The RFPA is the appointment agreement between individual residents and fellows and the University of Washington. All residents and fellows sign this agreement annually.
