Investing in the radiologists of tomorrow

Thank you to our donors. Your continued support makes these opportunities possible for every resident class. Donate to the Rohrmann Endowment.

About the Endowment

The Rohrmann Endowment was established in 2010 to support the future of resident education in the UW Medicine Department of Radiology. It gives our residents access to new teaching methods, advanced learning technology, and professional development opportunities that prepare them for a rapidly changing field.

Your help is needed now to fully fund the endowment. A fully funded endowment generates support for the UW Radiology Residency Program every year, in perpetuity.

About Dr. Charles Rohrmann

Dr. Charles A. Rohrmann, Jr. joined the UW Medicine faculty in 1975. He is a gastrointestinal radiologist whose clinical work focuses on imaging of the abdomen and GI tract, including the biliary and pancreatic duct systems. For nearly 30 years, he served as director or associate director of the department's residency program. In that time, he set the high standards the program still upholds today.

Dr. Rohrmann is as respected by his colleagues as he is beloved by his trainees. He has always recognized that medicine evolves quickly, and that the way we train physicians must evolve with it. The endowment carries that philosophy forward.
