Musculoskeletal Imaging Research
The Musculoskeletal Imaging Research Group is dedicated to advancing translational research with a strong emphasis on the development and validation of quantitative imaging biomarkers. Our goal is to establish reliable imaging techniques that enable consistent assessment of pathology, disease progression, and therapeutic response.
Research Focus Areas
- Cartilage Imaging
Development of advanced imaging methods for early detection and monitoring of cartilage degeneration and repair. - Musculoskeletal Oncology Imaging
Innovative approaches for characterizing and tracking musculoskeletal tumors and treatment effects. - Emerging Imaging Techniques
Exploration of novel MRI and CT methods to improve diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. - Machine Learning Applications
Leveraging machine learning to enhance image quality, assist with image interpretation, and optimize workflow management. - Image-Guided Interventions and Therapies
Research into minimally invasive, imaging-guided procedures for musculoskeletal disease management.
Musculoskeletal imaging research is conducted by our faculty, clinical fellows, and research scholars, fostering a collaborative environment that bridges clinical practice and scientific discovery.
