Biography
Dr. Orpheus Kolokythas is a board certified radiologist specializing in abdominal and pelvic imaging. His specific areas of expertise include abdominal and pelvic disorders with emphasis on liver, pancreas, and biliary system.
He is a UW professor of Radiology and Adjunct Professor of Surgery. He is the Medical Director of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and MRI Safety Director.
Dr. Kolokythas is committed to delivering the best imaging service for patients and clinical colleagues.
Dr. Kolokythas earned his medical degree from the University of Heidelberg in Germany. His clinical and research interests include imaging of tumors of the liver and pancreas and the advancement of robust and efficient MRI techniques.
Personal Interests
In his free time, Dr. Kolokythas enjoys cycling, history and art, and traveling with his family.
