BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Kohr is a breast imaging radiologist and the clinical director of breast imaging at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (FHCC). Her clinical practice includes all aspects of
breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast biopsies and interventional procedures

Her interests include patient-centered care, resident and fellow education, and quality and safety in diagnostic imaging. She has served as a radiology residency program director, as a departmental quality officer at a former institution. She grew up in Northern California and earned her bachelor's degree in cell and developmental biology, with high honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She received her MD from the University of California, San Francisco, completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Washington - where she served as chief resident - and completed her fellowship in breast and body imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY.
As a breast imager, she is dedicated to using state-of-the-art imaging and an evidence-based approach to the early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer. She believes clear, caring communication is a crucial part of patient care, and works to make sure patients understand their results, their options, and what comes next, with respect for each patient's individual needs and values. Her work in quality improvement and in training the next generation of radiologists is grounded in the same goal: consistent, careful reads for every patient, every day. Outside of work, she enjoys being active outdoors, traveling, and reading fiction and memoir, is currently learning to sing, and is always up for a good meal. She is grateful to work alongside a highly skilled and compassionate team of providers and technologists dedicated to providing excellent patient care and looks forward to meeting and serving you and your family.
