Biography

Hakan Yilmaz is a MedTech innovator and founder, where he has led the development and patenting of multiple medical devices designed to improve patient care. His previous research explored dialysis and urea photodecomposition systems. Now, as a Ph.D. student, his work focuses on organs-on-chips technologies and their potential to transform disease modeling and drug testing. With a strong background in engineering and entrepreneurship, Hakan is dedicated to translational research and bridging the gap between clinical needs and real-world solutions.
