Biography

"As a Pediatric Radiologist, my first goal it provide the same care to your child as I would to my own family. In my specialty area of Pediatric Neuroradiology, I spend much of my time diagnosing illnesses of the brain and spine. Many of the findings that I am looking for are very subtle, such as the tiny areas of abnormal brain that can cause epilepsy, or the tiny fibrous cord that might prevent the spine from normally developing. It takes time and attention, and I will often review a study multiple times to make sure I haven't missed something. I am meticulous, because I know that correctly diagnosing your child could mean the difference between a good outcome or a bad one. I am driven to give this important job my utmost each and every day it is what I would want and expect for my own child. And I can proudly say that this is true of the entire team of providers here at Seattle Children's Hospital. I feel honored to be able to work with a team as skilled and dedicated as are my radiology and clinical colleagues. I would unquestionably trust them with my own children, and I thank you for doing the same."
