Biography

Dr. Nida Anjum Ahmed is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Department of Radiology at the University of Washington.

She earned her MBBS degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India. After graduation, she gained clinical experience across India and the United Kingdom, including roles in acute care, Geriatrics, Nephrology, and Trauma and Orthopaedics within the UK National Health Service.

Dr. Ahmed joined the University of Washington in 2026 as a postdoctoral research scholar in Musculoskeletal Radiology. Her research interests include musculoskeletal imaging, quantitative imaging techniques, imaging-based outcome assessment, and the application of artificial intelligence in radiology. Her work focuses on advancing imaging methods to improve diagnostic accuracy, clinical decision-making, and patient care in musculoskeletal disease.

In addition to her research, Dr. Ahmed has a strong interest in academic writing, medical education, quality improvement, and collaborative projects at the intersection of radiology and

orthopaedics.
