BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Farbod Khosravi, MD, is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Radiology at the University of Washington, specializing in cardiothoracic imaging. His research focuses on advanced diagnostic imaging of vascular and cardiac pathologies, including traumatic aortic injury, cardiac trauma, and pulmonary embolism, with expertise in computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). He is particularly interested in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to radiologic workflows to improve diagnostic precision and clinical decision-making. Dr. Khosravi has authored several peer-reviewed articles, including systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and multimodality imaging-based diagnostic frameworks, and is actively engaged in peer review for academic journals. He has recently submitted original abstracts to major radiology conferences, including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging (NASCI). In parallel, he is involved in neuroimaging studies utilizing the ADNI database to examine associations between structural brain atrophy and circulating biomarkers across the Alzheimer’s disease continuum. His academic interests also extend to cancer imaging and global oncology research, with a particular focus on imaging-based assessment and the epidemiology of cancer burden.
