biography
Carter is the Labs and Facilities Manager for the Materials Science and Engineering department and helps to facilitate the construction of new research labs within the department as well as manage the shared instruments facility and undergraduate labs. His past research experience includes process engineering for aluminum TIG welding and the synthesis and mechanical testing of semiconducting block copolymers. He is researching the application of hydrogels for treating acute liver failure to expand the available options for patient care.
