Biography
Dr. Shivaram is currently an associate professor in the Interventional Radiology section in the Department of Radiology at the University of Washington. Dr. Shivaram earned an AB at Harvard University in 2000 and his MD from Stanford University in 2007, where he was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholar.
He completed general surgery internship at Swedish Medical Center in 2007, radiology residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in 2012, and fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 2013. Dr. Shivaram joined the UW interventional radiology faculty in 2013.
Dr. Shivaram is board certified in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. He is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology, and the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies.
Dr. Shivaram’s clinical and research interests include pediatric interventions and outcomes, vascular anomalies, and lymphatic interventions.
