Looking For In Residency

The most important thing to me was a close knit community of inspiring residents and faculty with a family vibe. I also looked for a city with great food and opportunities, a program where I could pursue a wide variety of interests with quality mentorship, and a patient population with ample breadth and diversity of pathology.

UW Strengths

All of the above and an exceptional ability to convey it! I left interview day with all the right vibes, and when I matched here I knew that I'd secured an amazing opportunity to pursue all of my medical interests with incredible people.

Advice

Keep an open mind throughout interview season and try to really envision your life both in and outside medicine in that city/program. There are many residencies that will meet your clinical interests, but each program has a different culture and vibe, and that may be the most important part of your experience!

Hobbies

Acroyoga and other circus arts, scuba diving, rock climbing, trying new restaurants, traveling, playing/watching sports, listening to and creating music, AR/VR experiences

Clinical Interests

Musculoskeletal and Interventional Radiology, AI, AR/VR integration with medicine
