Eligibility
All candidates must have completion of an ACGME-accredited radiology residency program in the United States, an RCPSC-accredited program in Canada, or the equivalent radiology residency in another country (along with ECFMG certification) and completion of USMLE Step 3.
Fellowship applicants must be eligible to obtain a Limited, Physician and Surgeon License, or Full Osteopathic License to practice medicine in the State of Washington by the time of training.
The Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship must have a valid work authorization. If a candidate requires visa sponsorship, our fellowship program is able to consider applicants requiring new J-1 visa sponsorship and can support H-1B visa transfers and J-1 visa transfers.

The Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship abides by the SCARD Fellowship Embargo Guidelines.

Applicants are chosen on the basis of clinical performance, knowledge of radiology, and professionalism demonstrated during radiology residency, as well as interest in cardiothoracic radiology. Preference is given to those candidates who are ABR certified or eligible, and only exceptional FMG candidates are considered.
